Meal Prep Recipes: 4 Meat Marinades

Whether you're all every week and don't have time to prep meals every day or want to prepare for easy meals to grab in the near future, these recipes are a great way to set yourself up for success.

4 Meat Marinades


Whiskey Chipotle Pork

  • 2 pounds pork loin chop, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • ¼ cup whiskey

  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce

  • 1 chili pepper in adobo sauce, diced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Meal ideas: Santa Fe Salad, Chipotle Pork Bowl with sweet potatoes & veggies


Beef Bulgogi

  • 1 ½ pounds steak (i.e., ribeye, flank), sliced

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes

  • 2 teaspoon sesame seeds


What to use it in: Beef bulgogi with broccoli & rice


Moroccan Chicken

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • â…“ cup plain greek yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons ginger

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

  • 3 teaspoons paprika

  • 2 teaspoons cumin


Meal ideas: skewers, Moroccan chicken bowl with rice, veggies, & whipped feta


Bang Bang Chicken

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 1 ½ tablespoons oyster sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 2 teaspoons paprika

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 teaspoons chili powder

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 teaspoons mustard

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar or maple syrup


Meal ideas: skewers, bang bang chicken salad


Directions

  1. For each recipe, mix the marinade in a medium bowl and add the sliced or diced meat. Toss to coat the meat in the marinade.

  2. Place in a sealable bag and try to remove all the air you can before sealing.

  3. Refrigerate if you're cooking the meat within the next day or two or freeze for up to 2-3 months before cooking. Cook meat in a skillet, oven, or air fryer.
